Expensiyo respects your privacy. We do not collect, store, or share any personal information on our servers.

Data Storage

All your financial data, including books and transactions, is stored locally on your device.

If you enable Google Drive backup, a backup file of your data is securely stored in your Google Drive’s appDataFolder. This data is private to you and is not accessible to us. We do not access, analyze, or share this data.

SMS Permission

Expensiyo may request SMS permission to help you automatically read transaction-related SMS messages (such as bank alerts, debit, or credit messages) for the purpose of expense tracking and money management.

SMS data is processed only on your device and is never sent to our servers or shared with any third party. We do not store, upload, or transmit your SMS content outside your device.

Granting SMS permission is completely optional. You can use Expensiyo without this permission by manually adding transactions.

Google Sign-In

We use Google Sign-In only to authenticate your Google account for Google Drive backup and restore functionality. Your email address is not stored or shared.

You can revoke Google access at any time from your Google account settings.
